I deeply hope you’ve been blessed by the journey of this past year.

As 2024 was a leap year, today’s entry is a bonus post. I’d encourage you to use the time to hold with the Lord the question of how you will journey into 2025 with Him.

• Do you want to read through the New Testament again, but this time simply with a journal and the Holy Spirit, asking Him to lead you to new truths and insights?

• Do you want to add the Psalms or Proverbs to your reading, and run through again? Or have a try at the whole Bible, including the Old Testament readings?

Hold your plans before the Lord, and ask Him to lead you. He is the God of the Further Up and the Further In—there is always more of Him to discover.

Spirit of God,

Breathe in me—

Articulating to my heart the dreams of God.

Help me to steward patterns and habits

That recreate heavenly things in this heart,

And that take me to greater heights

And greater depths,

In the greater things

Of the Kingdom of God.

In Jesus’ Name,

And in His footsteps,

Now and always,
