Pray:

Father,

Help me to show up to today.

Not with my usual drivenness, fear,

And the endless pressure to play catchup on life.

But to show up to gratitude;

To honesty;

To those I will spend my day with;

To food and drink and celebration and rest;

To every gentle act of grace you place before me,

That I may taste and see your goodness in each moment and detail.

Because here, 

In this moment,

And this day,

You are.

And so, my Lord,

Here am I too.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
