Pray:

Father,

Plant me today

In soil that is good.

Sink the roots of my heart

Into the trust that relinquishes control,

And the joy that delights in simplicity,

And the stillness that releases anxiety,

And the rest of one who is loved.

Father,

Plant me today,

That this life may flourish

In the soil of your heart,

Unto a life of green fullness,

And the bursting fruits 

Of the heavenly life.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
