Pray:

Father,

This day is a great gift,

Open my eyes to see the wonder in each detail,

And in each moment.

Slow my soul to the pace of heaven.

Today,

I let go the pressure to be all things to all people,

I let go of the pressure to do,

And I choose to feast, to sleep, to play, to laugh, to sleep,

And, simply, to be.

Gift my weary soul with the understanding,

That simply being with you is heaven,

That this becomes the foundation for all my days,

Into untold ages to come.

In Jesus’ Name,
