Pray:

Father,

I’m not always very good at stopping;

What about the tasks that need done?

I’m not always very good at celebrating;

What about all my cause for worry?

I’m not always very good at letting go;

What if it turns our that you can’t be trusted?

And yet,

My Father,

My reasons for resting

Are found in your character:

Able, joyful, trustworthy,

And good.

Unto the transformation of this tired heart,

My Father,

Today I rest.
