Pray:

Father,

My way, throughout much of my life,

Is complex.

It journeys towards achievement, acquisition, fruitfulness, expectations, 

And trying to meet the demands of a world around me that hasn’t quite learned

That I have limits.

But Father, 

My way today is very simple.

It is towards you.

To slow down with you

To sleep, to breathe, to rest, to heal.

As I do so,

Would you realign my everyday

That your unlimited love enable me to accept my limits

And tread lighter, more joyfully, and more simply,

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
