Pray:

Father,

May this day

Lead me closer to you.

Take out from me

Every false idea of you,

That my life and heart

May stop striving and fearing,

Running and hiding,

But instead,

May be trustingly exposed

To the God whose every way and thought and word and act

Is great love.

As I pause in this day,

May every simple joy

Be unto the learning of this generous, healing, transforming

Love

Unto the reconditioning of my heart

And a walk of daily, willing, and beautiful surrender

For in your hands

I find my self,

And in your hands,

I learn what it is to live

From love.

In Jesus’ Name
